Veronica wrote the words and Cassi created the delightful Chickabella. The series is dedicated to the memory of Veronica’s sister, Mary who told the best stories. Veronica Strachan has been a midwife, project manager, CEO and consultant as well as a memoir and picture book writer. But as V. E. Patton, she writes fantasy and science fiction, and believes you can never have too many dragons. She is also the co-founder of Australian Book Lovers and co-presenter of the popular podcast of the same name. Cassi Strachan is an organisational learning and development consultant who – in her ‘spare’ time – becomes Creative Girl Tuesday and magically transforms stick figures and vague ideas into fully-fleshed and finished digital images.
